Boost Reproductive Health Services for Women in the Eastern Region

EACH is pleased to announce that we have received funding from Victoria’s Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to expand our Well Women’s Clinic as part of a boost to sexual and reproductive health services.

EACH’s Well Women’s Clinic is a confidential program which provides medical services, information and education to women of all age groups and backgrounds.  With a focus on providing free and low cost reproductive health options to women in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs, the program is supported by nurses and a General Practitioner.

Services at the Clinic include cervical screening, contraception education, contraceptive devices, family planning, pregnancy testing, counselling and antenatal care.  It also provides advice and care for menopausal women, provides screening and certification for sex workers, emergency contraceptive advice and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis Clinic.

Peter Ruzyla, EACH CEO said “This funding will greatly assist our service to meet the emerging health needs of women in the Outer East, including ongoing integrated and coordinated support and education on reproductive health.”

The Clinic is located at 75 Patterson Street, Ringwood East and is easily accessible by public transport.  To find out more information or make an appointment for any EACH service please contact our Service Access Team on 1300 00 3224.
