each child early intervention offers a range of programs and activities designed to minimise the impact of a disability or developmental delay.

The program supports the child and their family. It is available to children from birth to school entry who have a delay in two or more areas of development.
The program
each child Early Intervention program provides:
- Assessment for children from birth to school entry
- Therapy, education and family support, both individual and in small groups
- Inclusive centre-based programs
- Home programs
- Support in local kindergarten and child care
- Parent support
- Assistance with issues affecting family wellbeing
- Links to other services
Eligibility
Children from birth to school entry who have significant delay in two or more areas of their development.
Parent participation
Parents play a key role in their children’s development. It is important they take part in all aspects of the program to:
- Help us understand their child and family
- Develop skills and facilitate their child’s development
- Set goals
- Meet other parents.
Staff
- Early childhood teacher (co-ordinator)
- Consultancy with educational psychologist and family support
- Occupational therapist
- Speech pathologist
Program content
The program focuses on:
- Attention and listening skills
- Communication and language
- Socialisation, play skills and behaviour management
- Motor skills and sensory processing
- Feeding, self-care and independence
