Giving children a good foundation

We believe that children build resilience by exploring their world and experiencing success and challenge.

Healthy bodies healthy minds

Our programs will challenge children to think about how we care for our bodies, by exposing children to knowledge about good nutrition and healthy eating. Staff will discuss healthy food choices and will actively model positive eating practices.

Children will be involved in the process of planting, nurturing, harvesting, preparing and eating fresh foods. All food will be prepared on the premises, from fresh ingredients wherever possible. Menus will be planned to meet the children’s dietary requirements.

Service information

each child is a not for profit, community long day care centre for children aged 3 months to school entry. Our centre will provide a family-focused, child-centred
approach to early years care and education and will include:

• Funded 4 year old kindergarten
• 3 year old kindergarten
• High staff to child ratios
• Nutritious meals and snacks prepared on the premises
• Purpose built facility
• Ecologically friendly
• Vegetable gardens
• Opening hours between 7.00am - 6.00pm
• Eligibility for Child Care Benefit (CCB) & 30% child care rebate
• Integrated early intervention and specialist paediatric services
