Registration of new courses

SIGNIFICANT CHANGES are in the pipeline with the addition of a number of training courses to the EACH Training Scope of Registration.
New programs currently being investigated as accredited training (linked to the required standards as set out in the Australian Qualifications Framework AQF) include the following:
1. Working effectively in Mental Health and Establishing and Maintaining Communication and, Relationships to Support the Recovery Process
2. Project Management at the Fundamentals, Certificate IV and Diploma levels
3. Leadership in Community Service at both Certificate IV and Diploma levels
4. Training and Assessment (TAA) - four units are being applied for
5. Financial Literacy
6. Financial Counselling to Diploma level
Further training programs are being developed for the next round of registrations in early 2010.
