The Health Promotion team works across EACH to support and strengthen health promotion principles and practices. The team works in partnership with community members, government, schools, businesses and other organisations to improve health and wellbeing of population groups experiencing health inequities. This website provides information and resources about ‘working in a health promoting way’ and is an opportunity to share Health Promotion projects with the wider community.

To achieve the best possible outcomes, use best practice.
If intervention strategies come from evidence based research planning, an understanding of the determinants of behaviours and environments, systematic approaches to implementation and evaluation is undertaken, then there is a great chance that the program or project will be effective!
Planning
Whilst your plan may constantly evolve, it's about getting the building blocks right.
Implementation
Clear communication, and project monitoring, and a team based effort.
Evaluation
Think you have got it right? Check, then re-check (and check again!).
