We provide enjoyable activities for participants and the opportunity for them to socialise with their peers. We also offer respite for carers while their relatives or friends are involved in activities.
We offer:
- Advice, support and respite for carers;
- Referral to other services;
- Involvement in interesting and enjoyable activities;
- Visits by entertainers; and
- Excursions to community settings and events.
We encourage clients to have considerable input into planning trips and activities.
What we do for carers
A carers' support group meets on the third Monday of each month.
We organise a carers' lunch on the first Monday of each month.
We also organise an outing every second week for clients who live with a carer, thereby providing respite for the carer.
Cost
A small daily fee applies as a contribution to program and activity costs.
