New South Wales - Community Inclusion and Support Services (CISS)

CISS provides high quality, individualised services that enhance independence and choice and strengthen community engagement.

Support and assistance is provided to:

  • people living with a disability;
  • people experiencing a mental health issue;
  • people dealing with the everyday effects of getting older and feeling isolated; and
  • carers and family members

Services are provided in people's homes or within the community. These may include:

  • care and support at a range of times during the day or evening, 7 days a week
  • support to establish independent living
  • assistance with personal care
  • coordination of other services
  • assistance to learn new skills, attend school or work
  • developing linkages into local community activities and social connections

Community Aged Care Packages (CACP)

EACH delivers 14 CACPs in the Hastings Region on the NSW Mid North Coast. To be eligible to receive a care package, you must be assessed by an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) as requiring the level of assistance this package delivers.

This service provides treatement, rehabilitation and attendant care services to people severely injured in motor accidents in NSW, regardless of who was at fault in the accident.

Veterans' Home Care

Veterans' Home Care (VHC) is a Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) program designed to assist those veterans and war widows or widowers who wish to continue living at home, but who need a small amount of practical help. The VHC program supports veterans and war widows/widowers to maintain optimal health, wellbeing and independence.

VHC services include domestic assistance, personal care, respite care and safety-related home and garden maintenance.
