EACH, in partnership with Tenterfield Family and Youth Support Service and Moree Plains Shire Council has been successful in obtaining the Youth Connections program in Upper New England, New South Wales.

Youth Connections is a national program which assists young people who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging from education or training, to remain in education, or to connect into further education, training or work. The Youth Connections program will provide flexible and tailored case management, youth focused activities, as well as working in partnership with education providers and other community organisations to build and maintain relationships with at risk young people.

Youth Connections is an initiative of the Commonwealth Government through the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR).

This contract follows the recent successful tender for the Community Support Service program (funded by FaHCSIA) in July 2009 for Glen Innes NSW that supports Indigenous community members and their families by providing linking and referrals to a range of mainstream and Indigenous services.

What happens when you can’t pay your credit card?

Posted on 12 Jan 2010 - Permalink

If you can't pay your credit card or you have used the maximum credit limit on your card, you will incur further interest and charges.

If you have been unable to keep up minimum payments you will be incurring extra interest and charges even though you are not using the card.

It is very important to talk to your bank or financial institution. Getting another credit card will not fix the problem.

For further information about managing credit card debt go to the Financial Counselling page and download What happens when you can't pay your credit card?
