Posted on 06 Jan 2010 - Permalink

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day intensive, interactive and practice-dominated course designed to help caregivers recognise risk and learn how to intervene to prevent the immediate risk of suicide.

Suicide can be prevented with the help of prepared caregivers. The ASIST workshop is suitable for all caregivers including professional workers, community volunteers, as well as people concerned about family and friends.

Due to the interactive nature of the workshop, numbers will be limited. To book your place or for further enquiries contact Donna Pendergast on (03) 9259 4100 or go to http://www.each.com.au/each-training/
