Why volunteer?

It’s a great way to:

  • Stay active and engaged in your community; and
  • Have fun!

What are my responsibilities?

  • To do the best job you can
  • Be punctual;
  • Undertake what you agree to do;
  • Let the volunteer coordinator know if you are unable to work;
  • Respect the privacy of people you work with - Support other volunteers; - Be a team member; and
  • Know your own limitations (e.g. time, physical needs, family commitments).

What can EACH offer me?

  • A safe, supportive and caring environment; and
  • Acknowledgement of your valued contribution through social events.

How can I become a volunteer?

To become a volunteer with each, an initial interview is required as well as the completion of a registration form and signing of the organisation’s privacy statement.

A National Police Check is compulsory when applying for volunteer positions at EACH. For positions which involve working with children, a Working with Children Check is also required. EACH meets the cost of these checks following acceptance of your registration.
