The National Disability Insurance Scheme is the new way of providing individualised support for eligible people with permanent and significant disability, their families and carers.

By allocating funding for disability services to people with disabilities themselves rather than to service provider organisations, and by introducing individualised funding packages, the NDIS aims to ensure that Australians with disability and their families enjoy far greater choice and control over all necessary services.

EACH’s NDIS funded Services

The NDIS is being rolled out across a number of trial sites beginning in July 2013 and expected to be fully rolled out across Australia by 2018-19. During this transition period, EACH will continue to provide services to people with disabilities and their families under the existing system as well as under the NDIS in applicable locations.
