What’s On

What’s Happening at MYS

MY Pride

MY Pride is a social support group for LGBTQIA+ and questioning young people (aged 12-19) to connect with their peers and discuss all things LGBT+. Topics are guided by young people and facilitated by a queer and trans youth worker. Common topics include mental health, gender affirmation, queer history, relationships and more.

How often do we meet?

The MY Pride group meets fortnightly.

Other info

MY Pride is facilitated by a member of the LGBTQIA+ community who identifies as non-binary and queer. Once you have registered, they will reach out to you to chat about your needs and how we can best support you.

If you or a young person you know would like to attend fill out our form here.

Manningham Youth Providers Network

MYS are proud to run the Manningham Youth Providers Network. We hold quarterly meetings and share communications. The purpose of the network is to support information sharing, encourage collaboration and enable professionals who support young people in Manningham to connect. If you would like to join the Manningham Youth Providers Network, please email ManninghamYouthServices@each.com.au, and introduce yourself to the team.

MYS Presents Songwriting Sessions

MYS are thrilled to present the Songwriter Sessions. Looking to be a recurring program, young people of Manningham will come together to play, write, plan and discuss all things songwriting with experienced musicians at the helm. The first session is on March 25th, 4-5:30pm at the Doncaster Playhouse. Please register your attendance on the form here. Email callum.wylie@each.com.au with any queries
