EACH CEO Peter Ruzyla Announces Retirement

After over 30 years of leading EACH, this week, our CEO Peter Ruzyla has announced that he is retiring this year.

Peter came to EACH in 1989 when the organisation had about 43 staff and approximately 150 volunteers, operating from a single site in Patterson Street, Ringwood East.

Over the decades that followed, Peter set an impressive direction for the organisation with a vision well beyond our community health roots. Peter anticipated the need to diversify our service offering and saw the benefits an integrated social model of health would bring to community members from all walks of life.

Over three decades under Peter’s leadership, EACH has become a responsive, community-based health and support service organisation with locations across the eastern seaboard.

Peter has also provided leadership over EACH Housing, a subsidiary of EACH, a registered community housing service with properties in the Outer East and South-East of Melbourne.

We now embark on seeking a new CEO to lead EACH and EACH Housing into the future. EACH’s Board and our HR Team have engaged Brooker Consulting to support the recruitment process, with the role commencing advertising from the weekend of 26 June.

It is anticipated that Peter will officially finish with EACH following a transition period in the last quarter of 2021.

While we are not yet saying farewell, we want to acknowledge Peter’s years of dedication and passionate commitment to advocating for access to essential services in the community.

Thank you, Peter, for inspiring healthy and inclusive communities.
