    Better Connect is an innovative, integrated care initiative led by Each across Central Queensland, Wide Bay, and the Sunshine Coast. We're delivering coordinated, person-centred support for people experiencing mental health concerns, AOD challenges, or psychosocial distress—and we’re looking for passionate professionals to help lead the way.

    • Full-time ongoing position
    • Sunshine Coast, Wide Bay, and Central Queensland Regions (Hybrid/Remote Options Available)
    • Competitive salary based on qualifications + 11.5% Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits up to $18,550

    Your role, your impact

    As a Clinical Educator, you’ll shape the learning and development journey of Better Connect’s clinical workforce. You’ll design and deliver high-impact training for Mental Health Nurses, Allied Health clinicians, and Psychologists—building capability in areas like mental health, AOD, and suicide prevention.

    You'll also provide clinical supervision and mentorship to staff across the region, supporting high-quality, evidence-based care and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

    You will;

    • Design and deliver targeted clinical education programs that align with sector best practices
    • Provide clinical supervision and mentoring, especially to early-career professionals
    • Support the development of competency frameworks and individual learning plans
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver culturally responsive training
    • Stay current with clinical research and embed evidence-based practice in all training
    • Evaluate the impact of learning programs on clinical outcomes and service delivery
    • Foster a learning culture across the region through reflective practice and peer development
    • Support clinical governance processes, including risk, quality, and accreditation activities

    Who We’re Looking For

    We’re seeking a confident educator, experienced clinician, and natural mentor. You’ll have a passion for professional development, a deep understanding of mental health care, and the ability to inspire learning in others.

    You’ll bring:

    • Extensive experience in mental health, AOD, or suicide prevention services
    • Experience designing and delivering clinical training and education
    • A background in providing clinical supervision and mentoring
    • Strong facilitation and presentation skills with an ability to engage diverse audiences
    • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and consortium partners
    • Experience working in regional and remote communities is highly valued
    • Cultural competence, especially in working with Indigenous communities
    • Familiarity with clinical governance and quality improvement frameworks

    Qualifications:

    • Relevant tertiary qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Allied Health, Psychology, or similar
    • Postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Education (desirable)
    • Current state-based driver’s licence
