Location: Ringwood head office + Hybrid working conditions
Position: Full-time, Ongoing
Salary: $120,000 - $130,000pa + 11.5% Super + Salary Packaging up to $18,550

We’re looking for a Finance and Systems Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team and play a pivotal role in driving innovation and efficiency across our financial systems.

About the Role
As our Finance and Systems Accountant, you’ll be the link between Finance and the broader business—providing support, insights, and enhancements to our core financial platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Jedox, and ExpenseMe. This is a hands-on, solutions-focused role where your technical expertise and business acumen will directly influence finance operations and reporting.

You will:

  • Administer, support, and maintain key financial systems.
  • Work cross-functionally to support data integrations (e.g. Dayforce, Carelink).
  • Lead system training and user support for finance stakeholders.
  • Maintain system documentation and ensure financial compliance.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal IT for upgrades and new implementations.
  • Provide systems support during financial close processes.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance automation and data accuracy.

Who We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate has both a technical mindset and an accounting/finance background. You’ll bring experience in financial systems administration, confidence with data analysis, and a proactive attitude toward solving problems and driving improvements.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced Excel and data visualisation skills (Power BI, SQL).
  • A continuous improvement mindset with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work across teams and manage multiple priorities.

Experience & Knowledge:

  • 3+ years’ experience in finance or systems accounting roles.
  • Proficiency in financial platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV, TechnologyOne, Oracle, or SAP.
  • Experience working within complex or large organisations.
  • Understanding of not-for-profit or health sector operations and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related discipline.
  • CPA/CA qualification (or currently working towards) preferred.
