  • $23.77 p/h + 12% Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550
  • 12 month max-term contract

Are you looking to kickstart your career in oral health while gaining hands-on experience and a nationally recognised qualification? Each is seeking a Trainee Dental Assistant to join our Oral Health team based in Ferntree Gully.

Your role, your impact

As a Trainee Dental Assistant, you’ll be supported to acquire fundamental clinical knowledge and practical skills in dental/oral health while completing a Certificate III in Dental Assisting through an approved Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

In this role, you will:

  • Provide clinical chairside assistance to dental clinicians

  • Assist with infection control and the sterilisation of instruments and equipment

  • Work closely with the oral health team to deliver safe, high quality, and effective public dental services

  • Develop skills and experience in line with training modules

  • Build your communication, teamwork, and time management capabilities in a professional healthcare environment

This is a fast-paced, hands-on position where you’ll be exposed to all facets of dental assisting in a supportive team.
