  • Up to $42.40 per hour plus overnight allowance and generous time in lieu + 12% Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550

At Each, we believe health and wellbeing belong to everyone and for some, healing begins in nature. We're seeking an Adventure Therapy Outdoor Leader to join our WILD program - a nature-based, evidence-informed initiative helping people discover their strengths through immersive bush experiences. 

WILD offers tailored programs for schools, workplaces and community groups, guiding participants through challenges that build resilience, confidence and connection. From single-day adventures to multi-day expeditions, our facilitators use movement, reflection and outdoor activities to boost mental wellbeing and unlock personal growth. 

Your next adventure could include: 

  • Abseiling, rock climbing, bushwalking, orienteering 

  • White water rafting, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, river sledding 

  • Snorkelling, team initiative games, camp cooking, overnight expeditions 

Return inspired, reconnected and ready to lead others to do the same. 

Your role, your impact 

As part of our collaborative WILD team, you’ll: 

  • Lead the design and delivery of adventure activity programs — from single-day sessions to 5-day camps 

  • Co-create tailored outdoor learning experiences with clients, schools, and community partners 

  • Facilitate reflective group discussions and nature-based therapeutic activities 

  • Prepare and manage logistics including safety checks, gear, transport, catering, and post-program follow-up 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and participants 

  • Collect and use program data for evaluation and continuous improvement 

  • Support participants and families for up to 6 months post-program 

  • Help grow our social enterprise through new partnerships and fee-for-service opportunities

Who we’re looking for 

You’re an outdoor activity leader who thrives on challenge, adventure and purpose. You're calm under pressure, collaborative by nature, and skilled at creating inclusive, supportive learning environments for young people and diverse communities. 

You will also have: 

  • Minimum certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation or equivalent 

  • Remote or Wilderness First Aid (current) 

  • CPR (current) 

  • Current Driver’s License 

  • Certificates or equivalent logged experience in at least three outdoor activities (e.g. bushwalking, abseiling, canoeing, surfing, etc.) 

  • Minimum 2 years experience leading groups in outdoor and remote environments. 

  • Swiftwater Rescue Technician qualification (or willingness to obtain) 

What will make you standout? 

  • Mental health or social work qualification 

  • Rigid bus license 

  • Bronze Medallion or Community Rescue Award 

  • Experience supporting at-risk youth and vulnerable populations within community or healthcare settings.
