Help young people build a better future – one conversation at a time.
At Each, our headspace Knox team is expanding its evidence-based support for young people aged 18–25 living with borderline personality disorder. We’re looking for an experienced psychologist to deliver both individual and group-based Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and play a key role in our dynamic youth mental health program.

Your role. Your impact.
This is more than a clinical role – it’s a chance to walk alongside young people during some of their most vulnerable moments. You’ll provide therapeutic support as part of the DBT program and through the Better Access initiative, helping young people navigate complex mental health challenges and build tools for long-term recovery.

Supported by the broader headspace multidisciplinary team, you’ll:

  • Deliver high-quality individual and group DBT interventions
  • Manage a caseload under the Better Access Medicare scheme
  • Conduct assessments, formulate treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Monitor risk and implement safety plans as needed
  • Work collaboratively with young people, families, GPs, referrers, and the headspace team

Who we’re looking for
You’re a skilled and compassionate mental health professional with:

  • Tertiary level allied mental health qualifications in psychology, mental health or social work
  • Current full registration with the Australian Practitioners Health Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  • Eligibility to provide Medicare services under the Better Access to Mental Health initiative
  • Strong clinical skills in youth-focused DBT and/or evidence-based therapies
  • Experience working with young people experiencing complex presentations, including personality disorders
  • A flexible, collaborative approach and confidence in both individual and group facilitation

What will make you stand out?

  • Previous experience delivering structured DBT programs
  • Familiarity with headspace or similar youth services
  • A strong understanding of the local youth mental health landscape

What’s in it for you
At Each, we’ll support you to be your best with:
✔ Flexible working arrangements – including hybrid options
Clinical supervision and peer support
✔ Above-award pay + salary packaging up to $18,550 to boost your take-home pay
Professional development including discipline-specific training and mentoring
✔ Supportive and inclusive culture – work alongside people who genuinely care
