Responsibilities include:

  • Drive quality and compliance relevant to NDIS and Aged Care, conducting gap analyses and responding to identified risks to ensure high standards of care.
  • Lead service design and improvement initiatives, using data, stakeholder feedback, and best practice to drive service excellence and improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate changes into systems, policies, procedures and practice guidelines, ensuring alignment with sector reforms, legislation, and quality standards.
  • Provide national practice leadership, supporting governance, capability development, and secondary consultation across operational areas.
  • Use data and technology to measure impact, inform decision-making, and enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify revenue opportunities and partner with Finance and Program Directors to meet funding and performance requirements.
  • Support new service establishment, ensuring service model integrity and alignment with contract outcomes.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives, preparing reports for executive leadership and engaging with government, peak bodies, and funders to position Each for sustainable growth.

Who we are looking for   
As Service Design Manager we are looking for someone who has consolidated experience in the provision of NDIS and/or Older Adults services, as well as the proven ability to cultivate collaborative partnerships, engage teams, drive change, influence outcomes, problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

To succeed in this role, you will: 

  • Be purpose-driven and client-centred; bringing a strengths-based approach to Each's people & services.
  • Have the demonstrated capability to design, implement, lead and evaluate new and innovative service models across the social and community health sector.
  • Proven ability to identify compliance gaps, recommend policy changes, and implement continuous improvements to ensure alignment with governance and regulatory standards.
  • Experience managing projects or contributing to project delivery within large or complex organisations.
  • Have the ability to interpret legislation and practice guidance, and design accessible policies and procedures and training.

Your strong knowledge of NDIS & Aged Care compliance requirements including standards, legislation, frameworks and system requirements will help you succeed in this role. 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate and/or graduate qualification in an area relevant to the NDIS/Older Adults Service Design portfolio (preferred) or extensive operational/practice experience in the relevant portfolio area.
  • A cleared National Worker Screening Check prior to commencement of employment.

As the Service Design Manager, you will be working in partnership with operational teams, National Clinical and Practice Leads and corporate service teams to design and redesign the models, systems and processes required to deliver safe, effective, person-centred, connected and sustainable services across your portfolio.
