  • Based on the North Coast. Work from either Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie or Byron Bay + Hybrid/flexible working options 
  • $32.52ph + Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550

Join Each as our Mental Health Independent Contractor System Administration Officer, where you'll play a vital behind-the-scenes role supporting our Choice of Mind and Healthy Minds services, part of the Healthy Hub Connect program. In this dynamic and detail-oriented role, you’ll help ensure individuals across the community can access quality mental health care—when and where they need it most.

Working closely with the Mental Health Independent Contractors Team Lead and reporting to the General Manager, you’ll support system administration, referral coordination, provider payments, and data integrity processes that underpin service excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Systems & Processes: Assist in developing and improving operational systems, tools, and procedures—particularly around referrals, payments, and capacity monitoring.
  • Referral & Payment Management: Process referrals, manage episodes of care, and coordinate the fortnightly provider payment cycle.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain accurate, clean data in our systems (including rediCASE), supporting compliance and quality reporting.
  • Provider & Customer Support: Communicate with contracted Providers and Customers through newsletters, notifications, and inbox/phone line management.
  • Collaborative Support: Work across teams to ensure integrated care and consistent communication with Providers.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support the smooth running of the Choice of Mind and Healthy Minds services through feedback, process review, and proactive troubleshooting.

Skills & Experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and databases (rediCASE experience desirable)
  • Experience with referral systems, data entry and integrity, and administrative support
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with social determinants of health and underserviced populations (a plus)

Qualifications

  • Certificate IV in Health Administration, Practice Management, Business Management or equivalent (tertiary qualifications desirable)
  • Valid Working with Children Check (or equivalent) and Police Check
  • Current driver’s licence
