As Team Leader, you’ll guide and support teams across both the Family Relationship Centre (FRC) and the Family Relationship Support for Carers (FRSC) — providing staff supervision and smooth running of trauma informed practices.

You’ll balance people leadership with service quality, collaborating with partners, overseeing risk and compliance, and shaping group programs and daily operations across both teams. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and love leading multidisciplinary practitioners, this role offers purpose in every day.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of practitioners, providing clinical and operational supervision, training, and guidance through our Family Relationship Centre and Family relationship Support for Carers.
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate systems for intake, assessment, client engagement, case planning, intervention, review, and referral or closure
  • Ensure services are customer-focused and meet quality and compliance standards
  • Oversee daily operations of the Family Relationship Centre & Carer Services team, including caseload coordination, team meetings, and supervision
  • Monitor risk and safety concerns through continuous assessment and review
  • Maintain data management, risk reporting, and quality improvement systems
  • Manage client complaints and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate group programs and workshops within the service

Who we’re looking for
You’re an experienced leader committed to inclusion, quality, and supporting families.

To be successful in your application, you’ll need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or a directly related discipline
  • Familiarity with family law, mandatory reporting, privacy laws, and ethical standards

What will make you stand out

  • Leadership experience in family relationship or carer support services
  • Experienced family resolution practitioner
  • Experience in the Not-For-Profit or health sector
  • Experience collaborating within a leadership team
  • Willingness to seek Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) registration

  • Diversity & belonging – We value all backgrounds, abilities, and identities and are committed to cultural safety
  • Supportive & inclusive culture – Work with like-minded colleagues and leaders who genuinely care
  • Boost your take-home pay – Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging (up to $15,900 tax-free per year) plus an extra $2,650 tax-free for meals and entertainment
