  • Part-time (0.6)  contract until June 30, 2027
  • Based in Narre Warren on the lands of the Bunurong People, with scope for outreach work within the community
  • Salary dependent upon qualifications and experience + 12% Super + Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550


About the program
BounceBack Casey/Cardinia is a community-focused program supporting young people experiencing complex and chronic mental health challenges. The team works collaboratively to provide evidence-based interventions, outreach, and holistic support for young people and their families.


Your role, your impact
As a Mental Health Clinician, you will play a key role in supporting young people to improve their mental health, wellbeing, and engagement with life. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing assessment, case coordination, and therapeutic support to young people with complex mental health needs
  • Delivering evidence‑based interventions onsite, via telehealth, and through community outreach
  • Building strong, supportive relationships with young people, families, and community partners
  • Developing care plans and completing referrals to ensure coordinated, holistic care
  • Managing an active caseload and following up to support young people to achieve their goals
  • Developing and facilitating group programs as required
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and contributing to meetings, clinical discussions, and program planning

About you
To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

  • Undergraduate qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, or related discipline with eligibility for membership in the relevant field
  • Experience providing assessment, case management, and psychological interventions for young people with severe mental health issues
  • Skills in engaging clients and stakeholders, problem-solving, and promoting hope and compassion
  • Experience working with young people who are disengaged from social activities, education, or employment
  • Experience in outreach or community-based mental health programs
  • Victorian driver’s license
