Walking beside people, every day
For Emma, being an NDIS Support Coordinator at Each isn’t just a job — it’s a calling. She walks alongside people living with disability, helping them build confidence, discover their strengths, and take steps toward a better life.
That smile — the one that says, ‘Something good is finally happening’ — makes every challenge worthwhile,” Emma says. “I feel privileged to be part of that journey.
— Emma
Emma doesn’t see people as defined by their disability. She sees their hopes, dreams, and potential — and she listens deeply, always letting them set the pace.
“Progress may be slow, but it’s steady. If we keep showing up, engaging, and trusting the process, we’ll get there.”
Driven by purpose and empathy
Emma has been an NDIS Support Coordinator for eight years, drawn to the role by her love of helping others and her belief in what’s possible.
“I thrive on helping — no matter who you are or where you are,” she says. “NDIS Support Coordination felt like the perfect fit. I could help people achieve life-changing results.”
She joined Each because of its strong community focus and supportive culture.
“Each is very people-oriented. We listen, we act quickly, and we genuinely care — about our clients and each other.”
Building trust, creating change
One of Emma’s most memorable experiences involves a young man she’s supported for years — a journey marked by patience, trust, and breakthrough moments.
“When I first met him, he was 14. He had no communication skills, wasn’t toilet-trained, hated transitions, and often became distressed in the community. His father loved him deeply but struggled to accept help.”
Emma built trust slowly, validating the father’s fears and consistently delivering on promises — from securing NDIS funding for practical needs to navigating complex systems.
“We worked with NDIS, allied health professionals, and the school to build the right supports. Eventually, we transitioned him into Supported Disability Accommodation — a huge step toward independence.”
Today, the young man is thriving. His communication has improved through visuals and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), his behaviours have reduced, and his sensory needs are being met. He’s gaining weight, sleeping better, and even beginning to use the toilet independently.
“We’re not there yet, but the progress is incredible. His dad is more confident, and the whole team is seeing the impact. I’m personally blown away.”
Bringing her whole self to Each
Emma is a mum of three girls, some with special needs, and is proudly culturally diverse. At Each, she feels seen, supported, and empowered to bring her best every day.
“I can be unapologetically me. My team leader is amazing, and I feel supported both personally and professionally.”
Her passion for helping others has inspired her to pursue a Diploma in Mental Health — deepening her empathy and understanding.
“Working at Each has broadened my view of what people go through. My empathy has gone through the roof,” she laughs. “It’s a great place to work — I genuinely love it here.”
Walking with you on your journey
Emma’s philosophy is simple: walk beside people, never ahead of them.
This is your journey, and you’re in charge. I’ll always be beside you — but you set the pace.
— Emma
This is the quality of Support Coordinators you find at Each — people who listen deeply, act with empathy, and stay committed through every step of the journey.
