By phone: Call us on 1300 003 224
We’re open Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with flexible phone and video consults available to fit your life.
What will happen during my appointment?
At your scheduled time, your health professional will contact you directly. If you’ve booked a video consultation, you’ll receive a secure SMS link 5 minutes before – just tap to join. For phone appointments, they’ll call you.
During your session, you’ll have a safe, confidential space to talk about your health. Your health professional may ask about your medical history, medications, or allergies, and can provide:
- Health advice and education
- Prescriptions (sent via e-script or faxed to your pharmacy if needed)
- Referrals or test requests (sent securely via email)
If a face-to-face visit is more appropriate, we’ll help connect you with a local service that’s right for you.
How do you support people from diverse backgrounds?
We’re committed to providing care that’s culturally safe, inclusive, and respectful for everyone.
Our team is trained in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Awareness, LGBTIQ+ inclusion, and child safety. We also work closely with our Aboriginal Health Team, Refugee Health Team, and Bicultural Worker to support people from all backgrounds.
Professional interpreters are available when needed, so you always feel understood and supported.
Can I get a cervical screening test via a phone or video appointment?
Yes, you can! Depending on your situation, we’ll either support you to do a self-collection at home or connect you with a local clinic for clinician-collected testing.
During your appointment, we’ll talk through whether you’re eligible for self-collection. If you are, we’ll explain how it works and arrange a kit for you. You simply take the sample at home and send it to the lab for testing. We’ll then discuss your results with you in a follow-up call.
If self-collection isn’t right for you, we’ll support you to connect with a local service where a clinician can collect the sample.
Can I access abortion and pregnancy options support via a phone or video appointment?
Yes. We’re here to support your choices with care, clarity, and respect.
If you’re eligible for a medical abortion, our team will guide you through the process via telehealth. You’ll receive clear, compassionate information, a prescription for medication, and step-by-step guidance on how to take it and what to expect.
If a surgical abortion is the right option for you, we’ll provide a referral and make sure you feel supported every step of the way. Whatever your needs, we’re here to listen, inform, and empower you to make the decision that’s best for you.
Can I get an STI check via a phone or video appointment?
Yes, you can. During your appointment, we’ll talk through your concerns and sexual health history and discuss whether self-collection or testing through a local service is right for you.
If self-collection is suitable, we’ll explain how it works and arrange a kit for you. You’ll take the sample at home and send it to the lab for testing. We’ll then go through your results with you in a follow-up call.
If self-collection isn’t the best option, we’ll help connect you with a trusted local clinic or pathology service for testing.
What technology do I need for my appointment?
A phone is enough to connect with us. For video appointments, you’ll need a device with internet access – like a smartphone, tablet, or computer. We’ll guide you step by step if you’re new to telehealth.
Is the service confidential?
Yes. Your privacy is our priority. All consultations are confidential, and we’ll always explain how your information is used and stored. Visit our privacy page for more information.
